I like to premake these and freeze them. Then I have them on hand for a quick protein for breakfasts throughout the week.

Weight Watcher Friendly Turkey “Sausage-ish”, 0 pts

Ingredients:

1 pound of lean ground turkey
1 teaspoon of fresh ground pepper
1 teaspoon of salt
1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon of dried rubbed sage
1 tablespoon dried parsley
1/4 teaspoon of fennel seeds, rubbed & crushed in your hands
1/2 teaspoon of dried marjoram

Directions:

Spray pan lightly with olive oil cooking spray. In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients together. Let sit for 5 minutes to let the flavors meld.

Drop meat mixture by the tablespoons and shape into patties using a spatula, gently flattening them as they cook. Cook on medium-high heat until brown on both sides.

I freeze these to eat during the week. If it’s a day to make egg muffins, I make half the sausage mixture into patties and use the other half as a crumble base to my muffin tin eggs (also 0 points).
